Self-hosting Commelia

Run Commelia on your own server for your organisation. You need a Linux server with Docker, a domain and an SMTP account.

  1. 1

    Get the code

Clone the repository you received with your licence.

  2. 2

    Configure

Copy .env.example to .env and set your domain, secrets, SMTP and (optionally) your OpenRouter key.

  3. 3

    Start

Run docker compose up -d. Caddy obtains TLS certificates automatically.

  4. 4

    Create your account

Open the app, sign up and set up your organisation. Add your email to PLATFORM_ADMIN_EMAILS to manage plans and coupons.

git clone git@github.com:getrestful/commelia.git
cd commelia
cp .env.example .env # set DOMAIN, secrets, SMTP, OPENROUTER_API_KEY
docker compose up -d
